Bodo`s German Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

Bodo's is a hidden gem of a restaurant. This was some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. Also, the staff is so courteous. I cannot recommend them enough. If you haven't been, GO.

Bodo's is a true gem! Amazing food! Fantastic beer! Great staff that truly know how to cater to their guests. If you are in Myrtle Beach you must check them out, because they will make you feel like family.

Oh man is this place awesome! The food was absolutely amazing! My only complaint is that they are now BYOB but I won't let that take away from the rating. You have to try the potato pancakes, they are to die for. It's just a fun, quirky place with great food. My daughter and her friends signed the wall before we left.

Great German food. You won't know you're in Myrtle Beach. No smell of sun screen, no screaming children. Just great food. Worth the wait.

I can't get over just how good our meal was. You know it's good when you're leaving stuffed to the eyes and you're already looking forward to what you want to get next time you come. The look is eclectic and a tad gritty, which I personally love. But, the food is on a whole other level.

I've been to a lot of German restaurants through the years, but this one is the best. The staff and is very personable and attentive, the atmosphere is comfortable and quite endearing, and the food is authentically German and absolutely delicious! If you're in the area, I highly recommend you check it out.

Home cooked German style. Dark German beer on tap. Good starters, main right out of Germany. Desert was taken back to the room, to eat later. Patrons leave momentos on the walls as a personal thank-you.

We’ve been going to Bodo’s since 2013. Used to be a great bar. Quirky, quiet...just awesome. We live in Surfside, so going there meant driving...never an issue. We love going. Went last night...they don’t serve beer anymore. It’s BYOB. What in the hell?!? Why would I go buy beer and drive up there just to drink it at your place and pay a corking fee?!? Shame on you Bodo’s. How can you call yourself a PUB without serving alcohol?!? Another bites the dust. Myrtle Beach blows now

I love bodos I have been going there for years. The staff are always friendly and Bodo himself is a boisterous, fun, honest man that will gladly sit down and share his company if you choose him to. The decor is a complete collage of a variety of international items and local-pasted on every wall- awesome! Bodo it also makes GREAT escargot! Everything I’ve ever tried off the menu is great the sausage platter is one of our favorites and plenty for two to share and don’t forget the great warsteiner dark and light! I only wish they got more business so they can stay open more often, a lot of times they will close down at 8 o’clock if nothing is going on. This is a great dive for couples and family in an easy location! I dread all of the other big establishments burying itVisit and help them stay alive!!Bodo is actually there every time working his tail off! All the snitzels and sauerbraten mmmm mmm good! Even my friends from Slovakia agree they have great beer!

The food was wonderful and conversation lively! We started with a potato pancake and each of us 3 had a different main that was delicious. Dessert and beer were enjoyed as well. The story of this family owned restaurant will have us returning the next time we're in MB!

Went on my Birthday, in the past needed reservations. So when I called made the reservation I thought everything was good. Until I got there! Not one person in the place.Ordered a glass of wine the lady told me they didn't serve alcohol anymore because it went bad. My husband ordered a Coca-Cola and got it in the can. Ordered the pork chops they were out of it. Worst Birthday Dinner Ever!!!!!!!

1st time there, definitely not the last. We ordered the potato pancakes ahead of time.we were told they take 30 minutes to make because they're made from scratch. Let me tell you, absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside, tasty on the inside. I ordered the saurbraten and German potato salad. Bottom line, just like my grandmother and cousin used to make. Almost brought me back to younger days. Incredible. Great experience Danke.
